Giftedly stores your name, login email, protected password fingerprints and temporary password-reset tokens, and the lists and gift details you enter. Your lists are available only after logging into your account.
What we use
Essential cookies keep you logged in and protect forms. Giftedly does not add advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard security and access logs. Login attempts are temporarily rate-limited to help protect accounts.
Password-reset emails
When you request a password reset, we send a temporary link to your account email through Google’s email service. Reset links expire after 30 minutes and work only once. We do not include your gift lists in these emails.
Optional newsletters and promotions
If you select the newsletter checkbox when you register, we record your choice, its wording and date, and email delivery status. SoundLevel AI sends a welcome newsletter and may send gift ideas, news, and promotions through Google’s email service. Signing up is optional. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link that works without logging in. Unsubscribing does not affect your account or password-reset emails. Deleting your account also removes its newsletter subscription.
Payments
If you choose Unlimited when checkout is available, Stripe processes your payment. Giftedly records the payment reference and your plan status; card details are handled on Stripe’s checkout page.
You’re in control
Download your lists or delete your account from Account settings. Deleting your account removes its profile, sessions and lists from the active database. Hosting backups may retain earlier copies until those backups expire. Payment providers may retain transaction records separately.
Your earlier browser lists
If you used the browser-only version, you can import those lists after signing in from the same browser. Clearing its old cookie before importing can lose access to those earlier lists.
Keep it thoughtful
A name and a gift idea are usually enough. Please avoid storing addresses, payment details, or sensitive information about your people. Log out on shared devices and keep access to your email account private.

Addresses, saved ideas, and installation
Optional mailing and return addresses, notes, notification preferences, and saved inspiration are stored with your account. They are accessible through your signed-in account and included in the complete JSON export. Deleting your account removes these records. Giftedly’s installable app caches only a public offline page, its styles, and app icons. Private account and authentication responses are not stored in service-worker caches. A connection is required to view or save private lists.
